Automate Technology was founded in 2008 by John Crowe, who had previously worked in the managed services sector and saw a gap in the market: Irish SMEs were being underserved by both large enterprise IT firms (too expensive, too slow) and cheap break-fix providers (reactive, not strategic).
The business started with traditional IT sales and support. As cloud technology and digital transformation became central to every business, Automate evolved in lockstep — expanding into cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital advisory, and now AI enablement.
Today, Automate serves over 150 Irish businesses across legal, financial services, healthcare, retail, real estate, and education. Every client relationship is built on the same principle: align the right technology to your specific business goals, then be the team that makes it work.
We are based at 20 Upper Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin 2. We are not the cheapest MSP in Ireland. We are the one our clients wouldn't leave.
